From degen to data scientist: turn your LP screenshots into alpha.

A simple AI workflow that turns Meteora PnL screenshots into real performance data, so you know your daily rate and cut the losers early.

Do you know your daily PNL? You need to learn how to check your performance on your own; no tracking tool will do it for you.

On @MeteoraAG, data is your only real advantage, but most degens don't know what their real daily return is after taking into account impermanent loss and volatility.

I no longer use manual spreadsheets. Instead, I'm using a simple AI-powered workflow to turn my PnL screenshots into a high-level command center. This helps me find the winners, get rid of the losers, and not get emotionally involved with the charts.

The manual tracking trap

Most LPs fail because they can't see the big picture. They think they are winning when they see a "green" PnL card, but they don't know how to figure out the Daily Performance Rate (DPR). You can't compare your current pool to other opportunities or tell if your capital is being used well if you don't know your % per day. Tracking things by hand is slow, boring, and easy to make mistakes with, especially when you have a lot of them to keep track of.

Screenshots to plan

I feed my Meteora PnL screenshots directly into an AI (ChatGPT, Gemini, whatever you prefer), which is my secret weapon. It is the quickest way to turn visual information into useful information.

This is the exact process:

  • Get the data: I take a screenshot of my PnL on the LP Agent site. You can also save screenshots from Metlex.
  • Analyze with AI: I upload the files and ask the AI to figure out the PnL in SOL.

  • Export to Sheets: After I make the table, I put it in a spreadsheet so I can see how I've done over weeks instead of just days.

  • DPR Calculation: Just ask to calculate your DPR and AI will do it for you.

You can also calculate the average time you hold your positions, your best and worst plays, and more.

Also, you can make monthly sheets and then do calculations on a monthly or yearly basis.

People make a big mistake when they only look at simple averages. If one degen trade goes down 4,000% in 18 minutes, it will ruin your whole average.
I always look for the Average DPR Excluding Outliers and the Median DPR when I look at my 24+ positions. For instance, a median DPR of +4.58% per day tells me that half of my trades are doing better than that, which gives me a more accurate picture of how well my strategy is working.

My tip for the current market: do not overhold your positions on new tokens

Discipline is what keeps you in the game, but data helps you see the truth. I've improved my risk management by looking at token market caps. I use one-sided $SOL positions to limit my losses, but the token itself is still important.

Don't hold too many tokens with a market cap of less than $3 million for too long.

"Degen" territory is for tokens worth less than $1 million. The risk is medium to high even in the $1M to $5M range. I currently farm the high-volume volatility of these micro-caps, but I leave as soon as the structure starts to break down. I don't see these as long-term plays; I see them as machines that make money. If the market cap is less than $3 million, I'm keeping an eye on the exit door. So, do not overhold these positions for too long.

The real flex in this game isn't getting a 100% PNL moonshot and then losing it all on the next three rugs. Being "boring" is the real flex.

I would rather make 1% every day than fail by chasing ghosts. If every time you check the charts, your LPing feels like a high-stakes heart attack, you're doing it wrong.

Why boring is bank

  • Strategy over Luck: You need a setup that you can use over and over again and get the same results each time.
  • You don't "feel" your way into a trade; you follow clear, set rules for when to enter and exit.
  • Emotional Stability: The stress goes away and the compounding starts when you stop treating this like a casino.
  • Clear exit rules: Knowing exactly when to close a position, whether it's because of the price, the time, or reaching your "greedy level," is what keeps your money safe.

LPing should not be a gamble; it should be a planned and organized process. Your system is working if it's boring. Stick to your rules, stay disciplined, and let the fees add up.
