The Layer Cake 🍰 is my favorite LP setup, a one-sided $SOL Bid-Ask strategy that's proven to work in every market. In the video below I show how I layer positions on @MeteoraAG to capture steady fees, limit downside, and stay positioned through all kinds of volatility.
The recipe
It's called the Layer Cake because you build it step by step, liquidity-layer by liquidity-layer:
- Find a token with a solid uptrend and identify a solid support zone.
- Open your first one-sided $SOL Bid-Ask position. The middle of the range should be a support level on the chart.
- When price dips 50-60% into your range, add a second layer (double the size).
- Keep layering 2-3 times as the market builds structure.
- Take profits or rebalance (close the upper position) on bounces.
Tip: if you're a beginner, increase the range of your position by 100% of the bins.
Simple, repeatable, and scalable. This setup has carried me through every market cycle. The written version lives in the recipe doc.

This post is a living log. Every time I bake a new Layer Cake and post it on X, it gets added here at the top, so the newest play always comes first and the earliest ones sit at the bottom. Real positions, real entries and exits, including the ones that tested my patience.
