LPing isn't just for the "set it and forget it" crowd anymore. If you want to hunt volatility where the action is hottest, you need to master Ape-In. This is the degen-style path to liquidity providing, built for short-term, high-intensity plays that catch volume and fees before the rest of the market even wakes up.

What is Ape-In?

The Ape-In feature on @MeteoraAG is your high-speed execution tool. Instead of fumbling through manual range settings while a token is pumping, it lets you deploy a pre-configured strategy with one click. This feature is native to the Discover Page, the ultimate dashboard for hunting active pools.

The 3 pillars of a successful Ape-In

You prepare your "gear" upfront so you can strike instantly when the right pool appears.

1. Define Your Discover Filters

To avoid the noise, you need a filtered feed. You can configure which columns you see (Market Cap, Volume, Fees) and set strict criteria for what makes it onto your screen. It is more data-driven than chart-driven. Capturing the volume in a short amount of time is the key.

Choose Your Fighter: Two Filter Styles

• The "Calculated Degen" filter. Market Cap: $300k to $700k. Token Age: less than 24 hours. Bin Step: 100 or higher. Goal: catch early volume on new launches with tight concentration. High risk, maximum fee potential.
• The "Steady Hunter" filter. Market Cap: minimum $1M+. Token Age: 48+ hours. Bin Step: up to 400 (wider range). Volume (1h): minimum $10k+. Goal: find established runners with organic growth and lower risk of rapid price swings.

Example: $BFS, high volume to TVL ratio. More than $16k fees on the Discover page.

2. Define Your Token Pattern & Strategy

Don't ape into a vertical green candle. Look for:

• The Healthy Pullback: entering after a pump has cooled off.
• The Volume Surge: watching for a massive uptick in fees relative to TVL.
• The Strategy: for these moves, it is better to go One-Sided SOL (Bid-Ask to accumulate on dips).

3. Size for Your Risk Management

Ape-In is a short-term game. Because these are often higher-risk pairs, your sizing should be disciplined.

• Standard Size: pre-set a fixed SOL amount (e.g., 1 $SOL) in your settings for instant deployment. Even if you put in 0.5 $SOL, you earn and learn from each play, and you can adjust your size and filters on the go.
• Exposure Cap: never put more than a small percentage of your total stack into a single Ape-In play to protect your capital.

How the challenge works:

1. Use the Discover page to find a DLMM pool. Quote token: SOL or USDC (e.g. ABC-SOL or ABC-USDC). No critical (red) JupShield warnings.
2. Open the position with Ape In. Minimum 0.5 SOL in liquidity, DLMM only, opened using the Ape In feature, and the position must be opened and closed within the challenge period.
3. Share your position on X (for the bonus prize). Download your "Ape In" position card, click "Share on X", paste your position image and tag @MeteoraAG.
4. Submit your best position in the Google form. One submission per wallet. If you open multiple positions, submit only the one with the highest % PnL. You may edit your submission within the challenge period.

Eligibility requirements:

• Position must be opened using Ape In on the Discover page, and must be opened and closed between 19 Jan and 25 Jan 2026.
• Minimum position size: 0.5 SOL.
• No critical JupShield warnings on the token pair. Wash trading and scam pools will not be considered.
• One submission per wallet. You may edit your submission.
• The X post must include your Ape In position card and tag @MeteoraAG to be considered for the bonus prize. Posts with suspected bot engagement will not be considered.

Prizes will be sent to the wallet used to ape into the position.
